Deborah Stemle is a paralegal who has extensive experience in commercial lending and in civil litigation. She graduated from The University of South Florida with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982, and The National Center for Paralegal Training in 1983. Originally from Maine, Deborah was employed for nine years as a paralegal for two products liability litigation firms in Portland and has worked at the Firm since 1998.

Karon Massey-Jones received her paralegal training at Kennesaw State University and has been employed at the Firm since 2005. Karon works on various corporate matters and handles many administrative and technical matters in the office.

The Journey from Certified Public Accountant to Law

Prior to becoming an attorney, Jim was a certified public accountant with the international accounting firm of Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) where he provided audit, tax and consulting services to banking, construction and manufacturing clients. He also spent three years as Controller for Storehouse, Inc., a multistate furniture business, where he was responsible for all financial reporting and internal control systems for 20 retail stores, two manufacturing plants, and two product distribution centers.
